What The International Is
TI is Valve's official annual world championship and Dota 2's most prestigious tournament. The first TI was held in 2011, won by Natus Vincere (Na'Vi), with a $1,600,000 prize pool.

TI2026: Shanghai and a Record Third Aegis
TI2026 (TI15) ran from 2026-08-13 to 08-23 at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, with the group stage on 8/13–16 and the main event on 8/20–23. It started from a $1,600,000 base prize pool and grew to roughly $3.3 million (sources range about $3,344,000–$3,365,308).
Team Spirit won TI2026, beating Team Vision (PARIVISION) 3–2 in the grand final to claim about $1,400,000 and become the first team to win a third Aegis of Champions.
